SUBJECT: Spring 2008 UH Achievement Grants

Hi,

 

The following is a great opportunity if you are looking for tuition funds for the spring semester. The departmental deadline is Friday, November 16, 2007. Please note that departmental allocated funds are limited. We do anticipate, however, that other units on campus will not utilize their allocations; therefore, additional funds should become available to our Legal Education Department students.

 

University of Hawai`i Achievement Grants:

University of Hawai ‘i Achievement Grants are intended to provide financial assistance to students enrolled in the UH system, with priority given to residents of Hawai‘i, and to ensure that the financial assistance awarded serves the needs of the University and the taxpayers of the state of Hawai‘i.

 

Application:

Application is attached for your convenience. Please be sure to complete the application fully and completely. There is no exception to the VOLUNTEER SERVICE requirement. It is to your advantage to clearly list your activities and to specifically note the hours spent with the activity by week, month, or semester.

 

If eligible to apply for the tuition waiver, I must receive your application by midnight, Friday, November 16, 2007 . The office closes at 4:30 PM. There is no exception to this deadline. Email, hand carry, or fax 808.734.9147 the application.

 

Notification:

The financial aid office will notify grant recipients. Again, only grant recipients will be notified.
