Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who meet the following criteria may apply for a scholarship:

•  1. Be of Hawaiian ancestry

•  2. Is a high school senior or graduate or enrolled full-time in college

•  3. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 for high school students/undergraduates and 3.3 for graduate students

•  4. Demonstrate academic and leadership potential

 

Additional Requirements

Applicants must submit the following documents along with their application:

•  1. A transcript of first semester grades

•  2. A letter of recommendation & resume

•  3. Verification of Hawaiian ancestry (i.e. birth certificate)

•  4. An essay stating why you are more deserving of this PKHCC scholarship over other applicants.
