SUBJECT: Grades, advanced law courses

Hi,  

This week we have the following informational notices for you:  

1. I hope your semester went well. Grades will be posted online in your MyUH portal. Grade reports/slips are not mailed. You should start seeing your grades beginning the week of May 18th. Please remember that instructors have up to May 20th (4:30 PM) to submit grades. If you do not see your grades, they have not been "rolled" into the student information system. I have access to grades the same time you do. If you have a question regarding a course grade, please contact the instructor to discuss your situation.  

2. If you have not registered for fall, please do so as soon as possible. Due to the tight budget, low enrolled classes will be cancelled. Need advising contact me at ckimura@hawaii.edu . I will be on summer break from May 16 but will respond to your emails. Response time may be delayed. I will be out of town from May 19-June 2.  

3. Beginning fall 2009, we will offer advanced law courses on a regular schedule. The advanced courses may be used as a substantive LAW course (pre fall 2009 curriculum requirements) or advanced legal specialty LAW course (fall 2009 curriculum requirements). Attached please find the proposed schedule of advanced law courses. Please be mindful that advanced LAW course require completion of the corresponding 100 level course and LAW 203 Legal Writing--see attached
