Hi,
This week we have the following informational notices for you:
1. Legal Aid Society of Hawaii will soon begin recruitment efforts to fill AmeriCorps Volunteer positions in Legal Aid’s AmeriCorps Project Laulima for the 2009-2010 program year (October 1, 2009 – September 30, 2010). Positions will be available in Legal Aid’s Honolulu office and several branch offices. In exchange for service, full-time members receive a living allowance of $22,200 and an education award worth $4725. Part-time members receive a $11,745/yr living stipend and a $2362 education award. --see attached
2. Registration started. Be sure to register ASAP. Low enrolled courses will be cancelled. Need advising? Contact ckimura@hawaii.edu
3. Use your STAR, degree audit to see how your courses populate the degree requirements. Log into your MyUH portal, click on the left sidebar, STAR degree audit. You can also see your transcripts in STAR.
4. Finals are around the corner....be sure you are aware of the date and time of your final exam(s) or when projects/assignments are due. Check with your instructors if unsure.
