SUBJECT: Fall 2007 graduation

Hi,

If you think you will complete the program course requirements this fall 2007 semester or spring 2008, please read the following.

 

The application deadline to apply for fall graduation is October 15 and for spring graduation is March 15. To prevent unnecessary problems, remember:

 

•  If using credits from another institution to fulfill the general education and/or elective courses, a “Transcript Evaluation Request” form must be processed. The request form may be found at http://kcc.hawaii.edu/page/kiscdocs . Upon completion of the evaluation, Kekaulike Information and Service Center (KISC) will send you a copy of the completed evaluation which is also posted on your MyUH. A formal request for evaluation MUST be processed. Sending transcripts DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY GENERATE A TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION . UH system transcripts do not have to be requested but the request for evaluation must be submitted.

 

•  The requirements listed in the catalog at the time of entry into the program are the ones you must fulfill for graduation. You also have the option to meet the requirements listed in subsequent catalogs. However, if you choose this option, you cannot combine requirements from two or more catalogs. For example, if you entered the program in fall 2003, you can fulfill the requirements in either the fall 2003 catalog or the fall 2004 or later catalog. However, you cannot combine requirements from both catalogs.

 

If you leave the program for a semester or more, you must fulfill the requirements in effect at the time of your re-entry. For example, if you entered the program in fall 2003, took a hiatus in spring 2004, and returned in fall 2004, you must fulfill the requirements in the catalog for fall 2004 or later.

 

•  All students should purchase or review the college catalog for program requirements. The Kapi`olani catalog may be purchased from the Ohi`a bookstore. Catalogs may be viewed at any public library or at http://kcc.hawaii.edu/page/catalog .
