Reentry

I’m a former Legal Education Department student; what do I need to do to return?

As a previously enrolled paralegal or legal secretary major who did not complete or attend the previous semester (summer excluded), you will be readmitted to the program provided you are eligible to do so under the college’s Probation, Suspension, and Dismissal policy. To view the policy, read College Policies & Regulations; Probation, Suspension and Dismissal in the college catalog. Also all debts to the University of Hawai`i must be paid before course registration. You can apply for readmission using the University of Hawai`i System Application Form with documents for residency determination as required.

Upon return to the program, you should contact the program counselor for advising. In the event that program requirements changed, you must meet the new program requirements as listed in the catalog in effect upon return to KCC.
